Support the durham e-bike association
Whether you are able to use an e-bike or not, you still may be interested in supporting
the activities of the Durham E-bike Association.
Areas where we could use your support include:
- Providing of meeting space in Pickering or Ajax (when we
start to get members there)
- Funding this web site
- Producing display booth materials/ hand outs for use in
malls or local shows
- Providing a location to set up a display booth.
- Working with the association to develop infrastructure
demonstration projects of the types described in "Support e-bike use in Durham"
- Providing us with contacts in the region, municipality ,
police and other stakeholders groups
Alternatively you may want to ask for our support
to help acheive common objectives. For example:
- lobbying with conventional bicycle riders for
expanded bicycle routes within
Durham,
- working with e-bike groups in other locations in Ontario to
influence legislation at the end of the trial period.
- supporting other electric vehicle use.
- contributing to 'green' plans in Durham Region
