E-bike Get Togethers in Whitby June 14, 2008 

The planned ride(*) has been cancelled, however, we will still be getting together in a few different places in Whitby on June 14.

Get Together #1:  Whitby Hydro, 100 Taunton Rd. East [Google Map]
Time:  11 AM

• The Whitby Fire Department are having their Community Safety Day across the street.
• Whitby Hydro has given us permission to use one of their outlets for charging up.  Please send an e-mail to warren@durhamebikeassociation.org if you will require some charge time.

Get Together #2:  Lunch at Great Canadian Meat Company, 1390 Hopkins [Google Map]

• Lunch is actually optional, separate checks please!
• Envirosponsible  is right next door.  Check out Chad's previously enjoyed building materials.  (Note: Transporting a rain barrel on an e-bike is not advised.)

We may add a third location for a get together.  Watch this spot for details.

(*) Town of Whitby requires group that plans an event that takes place on any Whitby roads to sign a 'Hold Harmless' agreement and to provide proof of $2 M in liability insurance.  The Association is unwilling to conform to this requirement and we have rescinded any plan as to how we will make use of Whitby roads as a group on this day.
